Keep them on a separate page. Listing references on the resume itself wastes space and is rarely expected up front. Bring a matching reference page when an employer asks, usually later in the process. “References available on request” is also optional and increasingly left off.

What details should each reference include?

For each person, list their name, job title, company, your relationship to them, and a current email and phone number. Always ask permission first and confirm the contact details, so a reference is never caught off guard by a call.

Is it really free, and is there a watermark?
